Nifty-looking shading techniques on the figures and I like the selective placement of texture in the coloring. For pieces like this and the wall-street journal one below, are you scanning in inked drawings or are you drawing them in photoshop or illustrator? Just curious.

Jeff - my approach is pretty hybrid. I still pencil & ink old skool onto Strathmoore plate paper, then scan it , and color it in Photoshop CS & Painter 9. I don't think I'll ever give up that tactile, hand drawn approach to my work , I enjoy it too much.
