The Lady From Shanghai

In keeping with the film theme , a recent homage to one of my favorite noir movies.

  4. Very cool! Orson was the man. Just curious, did you do a finished piece and scan it in, or did you do it in pieces and put it together on the computer? I'd have put it together in P-shop but I'm pretty deadline oriented and would do it the quickest way possible. No matter! Looks very nice.

  9. Jeff - Orson was def 'the man' , everything was drawn on a single sheet of paper then scanned , though sometimes I draw all the elements on separate sheets. Time does usually determine that.

    josh - thanks man, I use a japanese Pentel GFKP brush pen , it's pretty awesome . It's cartridges are pigmented perm ink which is a bonus too. It's sometimes called a 'pocket brush pen'.
