I like this one, Dominic! Cool border.
I really look forward to seeing more!

Thanks Travis , excercises like this one are always a good way for me to experiment with some ideas and techniques, rather than risk it on a paying gig.

Hi Domonic, great blog and work, this is particularly lovely. I don't buy comics, but have nevertheless seen your stuff around in illos for many many years and enjoyed it. I remember you also from the most excellent design department at Nelvanarama many years ago. Best, and hope I haven't already made a comment like this, I've been looking at your blog awhile now...

Hey there!...This one's awesome, I love how her hair makes one with the background! :)

Jeff - thanks man

Clive - thanks for stopping by , I'm flattered that you remember my work . Nelvana was a great place to hone my 'chops' .

Emmanualle - glad you like it , this piece was as much an excercise in design as it was in drawing.

beautiful! i like your versatility (ie also the very bonnard nude up top) thanks for the visit

there's a louise brooks "fan club" on live journal. do you mind if i link there with this?

lotusgreen - thanks for your encouraging words. By all means 'link me' . If memory serves me correctly , Bonnard was afiliated with the Nabis art movement , I appreciate the reference.
