I was saddened to read today that TORO magazine has gone the way of the dinosaur. Did some really fun work with them over the years. Hopefully the people I worked with find themselves gainly employed soon. What follows is a comic strip I did for their 'Spring Break' issue. The writer was Micah Toub. Enjoy!

Ahhh thanks for that! Very funny.
Also sorry to hear about Toro's demise - actually quite liked it, even though I'm not exactly the target audience ....it was a step above most in that genre.

laura - many thanks, I appreciate your feedback.
Nice one Dominic.
First of all, Bugatto is an awesome last name. Second, can't stop smiling from all your illustrations. You are very good at injecting humor in them. Wish I followed Toro more closely to see more of your work. Mahalo.

Aw, what a bummer...I always enjoyed TORO, and dreamed to be able to do some work for them one day! I liked their slightly higher-brow look and feel...great sense of humor and appreciation for the lovely ladies, but without all the noise that makes MAXIM so tiresome.
Really fine pages too, Dominic...I never saw 'em in print, so I'm fortunate to get a secnd chance!
